Most of you know that our family has been journeying through a really tough time of late. In the natural when I looked at the situation I felt completely overwhelmed. As a mum, even though I knew that God had it all under control, I felt useless.
I heard this song one Sunday morning. My soul was dry, I was spent and exhausted. It’d forgotten to soak myself in worship. As I listened to this song, I was reminded of His complete faithfulness, love and peace. God is with us even when we can’t see the forest from the trees. Even when we can’t see a way out in the natural, God has his perfect plan. He is our rescuer.

28 “Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Then come to me. I will refresh your life, for I am your oasis. 29 Simply join your life with mine. Learn my ways and you’ll discover that I’m gentle, humble, easy to please. You will find refreshment and rest in me. 30 For all that I require of you will be pleasant and easy to bear.”
I love that when it is all too much, we can lay it all at His feet, give it all to Him and He will take care of it. I love that He is our heart healer. He puts us back together, He restores us.
